Newton Hilton Cross is the Principal of the South African Butler Academy ( SABA ) and serves as the founding member of the South African Butler Academy with Mr. Adriaan Coetzer both which are directors of the South African Butlers Guild. With over 11 years of experience in the private sector and commercial Butler sector Newton Cross is one of South Africa`s youngest celebrity Butlers.

Clients whom Mr. Cross worked for are Old Press. Nelson Mandela, Tiger Woods, Shania Twain, Michael Schumacher, Pres Clinton, Pres Bush, Pres. Thabo Mbeki and Actress Uma Thurman. With his extensive resume Newton Cross has travelled the world obtaining international Butler experience and trained in England as a professional Butler.

Christian has proved himself managing and being an integrated part of very successful, inovative and award wining multi outlet operations with large banqueting and a la carte operations, catering up to 3000 covers, leading team from 5 to 20 F&B professionals, and received his Certification as Master of Wine in September 2009. After working in the Hospitality Industry for over 11 years.

Responsible for the planning of State Visits to Canada including liaison with foreign embassies, national and international media, the Prime Minister's Office and the Governor General's Office. Coordinated a taskforce of government agencies (RCMP, local police forces and military) to organize all aspects of a visit including special events and hospitality. Escorted the dignitary throughout the itinerary. Heads of State hosted by Mr. Bedell include President George H. W. Bush, King Hussein of Jordan, Javier Perez de Cuellar (Secretary General of the United Nations), President Lech Walesa of Poland, President Vaclav Havel of Czechoslovakia, President Carlos Salinas of Mexico, President Chaim Herzog of Israel and King Juan Carlos of Spain.

He was tasked by the Prime Minister to organize Nelson Mandela's first visit to Canada only months after his release from prison. Later, Gary joined Mr. Mandela as an aide on his historic tour of the United States. He was seconded, at the personal request of Mr. Mandela, to the offices of the African National Congress in Johannesburg to develop a training program for his security and protocol staff. Mr. Bedell often accompanied the then President of the African National Congress as an assistant on internal trips in South Africa. Proudly assists the South African Butler Academy and partaking in producing world class butlers.

Mr. Van Zyl is a Top Caliber "High Tech" Trainer and close business acquaintance to the South African Butler Academy. Mr. Van Zyl holds a Masters Degree in Science at Stellenbosch Universaty B.Sc (Hons) M.Sc Ph.D Mr.Van Zyl is person who have tons of energy in our environment, always demonstrating positive attitude and a person who always supported his team. Every student who undergoes training at SABA receives a vital technology awareness platform on completion of this module. Technology and Science is a key element in Butler Training.
